celebration on kron4.com san francisco police have arrested the person they say is responsible for vandalizing a muni bus on sunday after the giants won the world series. 22-year-old gregory grannis admitted to vandalizing the bus. now they are looking for two suspects who they believe are responsible for setting the bus on fire. the police chief addressed the media about the investigation today >> this kind of behavior in san francisco we will identify you, we will arrest you, we will prosecute you, and you're going to pay for it. so don't go there. >> police are analyzing the video with the hopes they can identify the two suspects. the police are crediting social media to the arrest of grannis, and they hope that social media and television can play a role in finding the latest suspects. police across the bay area

are taking part in "operation boo" tonight, checking up on sex offenders. they are making sure they are following the strict goal lines to keep -- goodlines to keep kids safe. >> reporter: sex offenders are under strict orders not to leave their homes on the day kids go trick or treating. >> that's why we target the most high-risk sex offenders. >> reporter: they are to abide by rules not to leave their homes between 5:00 pm halloween evening and 6:00 pm the following day, not wear costumes, decorate their homes, or give children candy. if not? >> we will take them into custody.

what a day in san francisco as the giants and their fans celebrated the second world series championship in the last three years! fans lined market street and city plaza for the parade. bruce bochy now has two rings in 6 seasons with the giants. matt cain was driven by alex smith. lincecum was pretty much unhittable out of the bullpen. people just trying to find a seat anywhere. hunter pence will endear himself to the fans by throwing his sweater into the crowd.

sergio romo had an interesting shirt. zito was snapping photos for posterity. buster posey and his wife, pablo sandoval with his world series mvp trophy. and the parade ended in front of city hall where the mayor kicked things off. >> and this is -- the broom to the city!
